Shannon & Eric are part of a wonderful group of friends that keep finding their way to my studio and we’re oh so glad these two not only found one another, but found us, too. With ties to recent brides Sarah and Elizabeth, Shannon & Eric’s day promised to be not only beautiful but also full of genuine love and friendship. Ellen had the honor of photographing the big day and told me afterward that it was one of those rare weddings where one feels more like a guest than a vendor from beginning to end. We’ve both shot at St. Jude’s in Wauwatosa quite a few times this year, but I felt that this time is was just a bit sweeter since it was not only where Shannon attended school as a youngster but its also the family parish going back to her grandfather’s generation. Pair that with stops at friend favorite Leff’s Lucky Town and top if off with an elegant reception at the historic Pfister hotel and you have Shannon & Eric’s perfect day, the first day of their life together as husband and wife.
