Arden Marie is a happy, sometimes serious-faced, but always playful city girl. Her mom keeps her in custom embroidered outfits which I adore – especially the ones featured in this post. (Who doesn’t love a party hat to start with, but seriously, one with your name on it ?!) Her mom is a sister to Amy & Michele and I’ve loved meeting Arden on so many occasions to capture her personality and watch her grow into a distinct little person. With dresses, toys and party hats in tow, Arden’s parents brought her up from Chicago to Milwaukee’s Lake Park for a 1 year session in the buttery light of autumn. The results are delicious, kinda like birthday cake.
Arden’s 6 month photos were during winter so we shot at the studio and the results were lovely, but I so enjoyed getting to play in the natural light with her for these. I can’t wait to see what a little lady she is at 2 years old!
