Amy & Mat are having a girl. The oh-so-sweetly named Elle will be coming home in a few weeks and that home is already full of love for her. Mom and dad have spent countless hours preparing her inspired nursery (not yet ready for prime time, but close) while her piggy bank is ready for coins and her books wait patiently for bedtimes to come. Amy & Mat are both firefighters so I couldn’t resist a few shots with their magnificent helmets, which I expect little Elle will spend years admiring on her own, perhaps following in their footsteps to be a hero herself. I’ll be photographing her arrival at home after the new year begins and I can’t wait to meet her – a sentiment Amy & Mat no doubt share along with aunts, uncles, grandmas and grandpas, all for little Elle.
