Heather & Paul met in medical school and just recently matched in Kansas City. But long before they imagined what it would be like to plan a wedding in Wisconsin in June and almost immediately relocate to Missouri, they slowly but surely built a life together making the most of rare days off and ordinary moments turned extra-ordinary by the mere presence of one another. I love the way they are so similar but so different, two ends of the same spectrum: she’s in pediatrics and he’s going into geriatrics; their engagement day included both George Webb’s and Ristorante Bartolotta. I guess what I love is the comfort and realness that comes with true love. So, in the spirit of their style, relaxed and focused on one another, Ellen captured these two in their neighborhood on a cool day best spent hanging out with one’s best friend.
