Good things are worth waiting for. Worth praying for. Worth whatever you’ve been through to get to the place where your true other half is…waiting for you. Andrea & Ray know this to be true and after spending an evening with them in my hometown of Atlanta I’m a true believer, too. They are planning a late summer soiree’ in the North Georgia mountains where most people don’t realize that vineyards meander the mountain sides next to log cabins and streams teaming with trout. I’ll be there to capture the inevitable tears and cheers when they tie the knot at sunset, but first we explored Piedmont Park together – the place where I got married almost a decade ago. They danced under weeping willows and played a little football with Andrea’s boxer pup; they treated me to dinner at a neighborhood favorite called Murphy’s and told me their story. It was hot and sticky like any proper Atlanta summer day should be, but one would never guess that by how lovely they look in every single frame from the shoot. Love does that to people when it’s right.
