In Jordan and Joe’s lovely engagement session post I talked a lot about how they like to just be together and on their wedding day I was brought back to that idea. Their day felt…ordinary – in an extraordinary way. They both seemed extremely comfortable and at home in beautiful clothes, surrounded by their favorite people, relaxing at the lakefront and being the central focus of love, attention, delight and sweet thoughts. They went arm in arm through the day from almost the very beginning as they shared a first look in the light flooded chapel at St. Mary’s, gathered their friends for a roaringly funny ride downtown, played bean bag toss games with guests and snuggled during their slideshow. Their day was refreshing and endearing and perfectly sweet, a lot like the weather, the toasts and the delicious treats their guests were delighted to share in with them. I am smiling as I write this just remembering it all. Congrats to you both Jordan and Joe – you achieved something all couples aspire to have- a relaxing wedding day perfectly planned and perfectly enjoyed.
