Before Landon Daniel was born Melissa & Dan already had a pretty full life. I’ve had the honor of photographing them several times before as they celebrated their marriage, had a little fun trashing Melissa’s wedding dress and then when Landon was still in his mama’s belly, so I’m pretty familiar with how busy these two are with friends, work and their fur babies Wrigley and Bear. But even with all that wonderful fullness there is a perfect space for little Landon in their lives. In fact, he’s completed them in new ways they didn’t know possible. I met him at home just about a week after he was born and adored his safari-inspired room and how impossibly tiny he is – so tiny he fits in his daddy’s ammo bag (if you didn’t already check out Melissa & Dan’s amazing Trash the Dress Session you really have to hop over there and read the whole story on why trap shooting guns and a new baby would ever go together.) Melissa & Dan, congrats on bringing a beautiful baby boy into the world ~ I know you are enjoying every.single.second of new parenthood.
