Each fall I shoot a seemingly endless number of engagement sessions for sweet couples who imagine poppy orange leaves and crisp fall air as the backdrop for their photos. This year has been no different but what has been a seriously positive change of pace are all of the lovely places my awesome couples have taken me for shoots. Lauren and Brian treated me to a morning stroll with those orange leaves and that crisp air, but in the woods of Kohler, Wisconsin and along the factory town’s streets with a sweet and tasty cup of hot chocolate to end the morning. Lauren & Brian actually live in Chicago and will marry in Milwaukee next summer, but Kohler is where Brian treated Lauren to a getaway weekend during the first year they dated. So for obvious reasons this quaint factory-turned-world-class-resort is a favorite spot for them and now for me, too.
