Shauna & Jack are two cool cats who think they are geeky. This makes them incredibly endearing, fun to photograph and kind of a blast to be around. They deftly mix Ray Ban & kate spade sunglasses with champagne sipped from a can, barefoot beach walking with sport coats and sky high heels; in short they possess a kind of high culture / low culture navigational ability that I adore and that speaks to my own mac & cheese or filet mignon spirit. With a warm sunset at our backs we hiked down to the beach at Big Bay and wound up at their first date spot, a wine bar on Milwaukee’s East Side. They laughed and joked, played silly and seriously, they were in every way just happy to spend an evening together, each in the company of their one true love. And it showed.
