From the moment I saw their engagement session images I knew Jess & Mark’s wedding was going to be Gorgeous with a capital G and maybe just a little bit over the top – and perfectly so. Jess has a liking for red and she looks divine in it and what guy doesn’t look smashing in a classic black tux – especially one as handsome as Mark. In fact, Mark’s best man told gathered guests about how his parents always called Mark “the pretty one” and I’m sure we can all see why. Lest you think I’m only going to write about good looks in this post I have to mention that while these two did indeed make a stunning couple on their wedding day, through Father Tim’s homily and the toasts their loved ones gave them we came to know them for the generous, loving, family-oriented people they are. And I adore how in every.single.photo of them I can see how happy they were to be marrying their best friend on that late November day. It was insanely cold and the wind was brutal but it really didn’t matter – he was hers and she was his and together they steamed up every space they visited from their first look to their first dance. And dance they did – very much like it was the best day of their lives.
