Vicki & Kevin met at Medical College of Wisconsin and have supported one another through years of rigorous work and study but talk to them for a few minutes and one hears way more about playing on intramural sports teams, traveling abroad, and general light hearted mischief making than their professions as a pediatrician and a surgeon. That work has led them to Minnesota but in many ways their hearts are back in Wauwatosa and the spaces and places where their love first found a home. So on a warm, but not too warm, Milwaukee summer afternoon they met me back at school and we got to know one another. They had driven for hours to be there but one would never know it – Vicki’s gorgeous hair blowing in the breeze and Kevin’s easy smile helping her to feel more comfortable in front of the camera. Eventually they (mostly) forgot I was there and they gave into the irresistible fun of hanging out with each other, happy to be enjoying a cocktail on a Thursday afternoon (Moscow Mule, anyone?) and to have the promise of so many more nights like this in their future.
