Liz and Matt met at a baseball game, a playful and competitive and all together fun start to a relationship that has turned out to be all of those things. They are best friends and rivals, partners and competitors, each unafraid to be themselves around the other, each totally at home as long as they are together. Their wedding was a wonderful celebration of those qualities and particularly memorable for me because I was awestruck by what dedicated and supportive families these two both bring to their journey together. Their moms and dads are simply lovely people and are collectively some of the happiest in laws I’ve ever met. And most importantly, Liz and Matt can look to their parents for the template on married life. They know what love looks and feels like and they are thrilled to get to practice a joyful life together with their soulmate. Cheers to the new Mr and Mrs!
