Haleigh & Nick have ties to classic vacation spots half a country apart – her family to Nantucket and his to Tomahawk, Wisconsin. So on their wedding day they chose neutral ground, a lakeside vacation town they can call their own. With a little northwoods attitude and lots of nautical flare, Lake Geneva was the perfect backdrop for their wedding day – a playground for guests and a homey spot for them, a place where a cocktail cruise could be paired with pale blue hydrangeas and seersucker details. The symbol of Nantucket – a white whale on a blue background – could be found here and there throughout the day, most delightfully on one of the flags that flew over The Lady of The Lake, a large and splendid boat built for cruising, and anchors dotted invites and paper and more. Haleigh & Nicholas are known by friends and family as being hard working and committed strivers, people who reach and succeed, but look a little more closely and one can also see that they are big hearted and in love with friendship and family. They were humbled by and grateful for both on their sweet, waterside wedding day.
