Manivone & Andy Sneak Peek

Manivone & Andy envisioned their wedding day as a wonderful mix of traditional and modern influences. The day started with a warm Presbyterian ceremony and continued at the sleek white Concourse of Pier Wisconsin, while in both venues the love and devotion shared between Andy and Manivone was palpable. Andy and Manivone work together  – a classic storyline – but they “met” at Lakefront Brewery where tour guide Andy made Manivone his bung queen – a very modern twist that could only happen in Milwaukee if you ask me.  It was a bit rainy, windy and cool on Saturday, but the warm pinks and greens of their details set the tone of the day. There are tons of details and moments captured to share in the full post of this wedding, but here are a few of my early favorites: I love the contrast between Manivone’s ultra-high heels and the soft sweep of her vintage inspired-hair and wrap, the look in Andy’s eyes as he gets ready to see his new bride and the traditional Lao jewelry and dress Manivone’s mother wore.

Despite the wind, or perhaps because of it, the ladies laughed their way around Pier Wisconsin while the gentlemen showed that cloudy days make for great photo lighting. It was a beautiful day with a beautiful (new) family. I can’t wait to share all the lovely images from Andy and Manivone’s traditionally modern day, especially  the dramatically lit first dance photos.
