Amy & Meg | New York Engagement

Amy & Meg live in a lovely world. They’ve carved out a home and life with their puppy Ruby across the river in Hoboken and from here the Manhattan skyline spreads out on the horizon, the most beautiful view of the city I can imagine. They brunch in little local establishments on the ground floors of brownstones and amuse themselves at an oddly and wonderfully high-end bowling alley across the river in Port Authority, of all places. They’ve dedicated their lives to being educators and they take empowerment and knowledge seriously, but not much else. They met in Teach for America many years ago and slowly but surely grew to love and trust one another in the way that few couples get the chance to experience. We spent a sunny day exploring their town together, where I was surprised by the old world beauty of the Hoboken train station, invited into their cozy home and constantly entertained by their laughter, antics and friendship.
