So it’s true. I participated in a bridal show. Something I said I would never do…but then Indie Wed came along and changed my mind. Indie Wed started in Chicago and it conducts business oh-so-perfectly-differently. Vendors are expected to be artisans and all are juried in so the hand picked crop of wedding professionals and true artists are as varied as they are talented. The local organizers included some of my favorites pros – David from Dynamic Events, Amy from One Fine Day and Debi from Blooming Quill – and the night was hosted by the Harley Davidson Museum – a venue I love shooting at not just because it’s unique and lovely, but also because I was on the building’s design team during my former life as an architect. My booth was a labor of love, expertly assembled in place by my awesome husband and father-in-law and I love how it all came together with gorgeous florals by Sue at Fresh Design. And I brought along my favorite gummy bears by Albanese! Modern and romantic, a little bohemian and perfectly me. Enjoy some scenes from the night!
