Kristine & Scott’s wedding day was exactly what they imagined it would be – warm but breezy, intimate and candid, romantic and just very them. Scott prepared for the ceremony quietly in Kris’ father’s hotel room where the sky-high balcony overlooked the Honolulu Marina and the vast Pacific Ocean. A few floors below in a room that opened wide to views of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach, Kris’ mom shared happy tears with her and they both breathed deeply knowing today was the day. Scott & Kris met at the altar of the perfectly bright white Ocean Crystal Chapel where palm trees swayed outside the clear arched windows and a very few family members witnessed them say I Do. A million miles from home in their heads and hearts they were all smiles, all happiness, all perfect bliss. Husband and Wife, His and Hers, at home where ever they were together.
The day unfolded the way it only could in Hawaii, with champagne toasts on a 15th floor balcony above while Hawaiian canoes raced below. The delicious smell of plumeria in their traditional leis followed them wherever they went – from the beach to a roof top luau. They watched fire dancers and danced to traditional Hawaiian music, they celebrated and laughed and held each other close.
