For their engagement session Meghan and Mike met me at sunset at the former Pabst Brewery campus less than two weeks before their wedding. Time had gotten away from all of us – a common side effect of having fun, loving life and…buying a new house on their part. The wind and the light played with Meghan’s hair delightfully and it was immediately obvious to me how much these two adore one another and adore reminiscing about all the memories they’ve made since they met.They love to go for walks and the up and coming brewery campus, now home to businesses, bars and even a hotel, has been a walking destination for them in the recent past. The Brewhouse Inn had just opened so we explored it and its cascading stairs and pipes before heading to a stretch of the Milwaukee river resplendent with wild flowers. It was a perfect night and a lovely way to introduce me to their wedding plans to be featured in the next post. Enjoy.
