Lisa & Brendan are having twins. Twins. They run in Lisa’s family, but still I imagine one is never really prepared to hear two heartbeats at that first doctor’s visit. But Lisa & Brendan are thrilled beyond words and are counting down the days until they welcome baby girl and baby boy. I met them a few years ago when I was their lucky wedding photographer at Boerner Botanical Gardens where their wedding style (and personal style, really) was my ideal of wedding day chic – Anthropologie meets modern with playful colors and patterns that always tend towards sophisticated. They brought that same easy style to their maternity shoot at sunset on the lake where Lisa braved heels and rocks to show off her beautiful bump. I know I am part of a big crowd when I write this but I’ll write it anyway – I can’t wait to meet the two babies they’ll welcome home in a few weeks.
