Megan & Matt met a long way from snowy Wisconsin in the bright heat of New Mexico where she was working and he was studying. Megan still lives in gorgeous Las Cruces and Matt is not too far away in Texas where he’s stationed. They’re planning their wedding back in Megan’s home state – all in less than 6 months – and as far as I can tell to great success. All that hard work and happy planning will come to fruition in less than a month when they’ll tie the knot in a cozy winter wedding celebrated under the soaring dome of Waukesha’s Rotunda. Then, they’ll combine households and lives close to Matt’s work before he’s deployed this spring. Despite the short timeline for planning the big day we found a few hours on a crisp, ideally lit afternoon to explore the Third Ward and enjoy a cup of coffee together in front of my camera. They cuddled and laughed and kept each other warm – just like they’ll happily do for the rest of their lives as husband and wife.
