Julissa & Ayodeji | Wisconsin Vineyard Inspired Engagement Photography

Julissa and Ayodeji are those kindof people that seem to effortlessly have it all. They are truly beautiful and in love and happy and nice and the list could go oh-so-predictably on. But just behind all the crazy gorgeousness I found two people who are working hard to create, own and cultivate their positive outlooks and life together. They take very little for granted and they’ve learned what counts; for them what tops the list is family and it was family that brought them back from LA to Wisconsin and Illinois. They work in Chicago and until recently commuted from southern Wisconsin where they’ll tie the knot on Julissa’s parents’ property this summer. We met there for this engagement session on an early spring day when the sun was setting over the rows of evergreens and budding bushes at the nursery next door and all I could think about was how it looked rather a lot like wine country. Rather fittingly, a bottle of crisp white was already open when they invited me in to meet their pup and chat. Over a few glasses of wine and a walk about the property I got to see how easy they are with one another and how each ensures the others’ happiness. It may have looked easy but I know that real love and real trust is never so easy – it’s built and made and protected. That’s what Julissa and Ayodeji are doing everyday.
