In a perfect world Briana & David and I would be neighbors, or maybe cousins, or heck, let’s just say it: best friends. They are that warm, that funny, that adorable – they are everything one could want in friend, a daughter, a son, a loved one. And magically, incredibly, so wonderfully, they have each other. I met them in Miami for their engagement session and fell in love with them immediately and on their wedding day that love fest simply continued. Briana has style for days and David blue eyes to stop you in your tracks. Her laughter is beyond contagious – it warms you from the inside out and makes you think you can do anything as long as she is up for it, too. David is quieter and more observant, a gentleman who’s big heart matches Briana’s big smile. And they have a serious soft spot for all things Wisconsin. I love the way they mixed glammed-out, Miami inspired, gold and black details with Wisconsin greenery and historical architecture. Deco style gold and black jewelry and a bridal statement necklace + sky high heels and classic black tuxes for the guys meant that every photo was bound to be beautiful, but really it was about the experience of the day for them. They wanted it to be beautiful, but they wanted it to be Fun and Flirty, Delicious and authentically them. So, they invited their best friends and family to let loose and get a few metallic tattoos in their honor, to play in an old bank vault, to leave them love notes and all I can say is Yes, I would like a (Wisconsin style) brandy old-fashioned with my (Miami style) mango ahi tuna appetizer and bacon really does belong on cupcakes. Cheers to Briana & David and thank you for being crazy cool, crazy stylish and most of all, crazy in love.
