Jillian and Jerry are simply magnetic. She’s got a million-watt smile and he’s always checking in to make sure you are doing well. She’s got it planned and he makes it happen. She’s his Jillian and her favorite phrases usually end with “my Jerry” – they are, more or less, wonderful people and anyone who’s met them wants to be numbered among their friends. And numerous friends they have! All of whom were in attendance on a gorgeously snowy January evening when Jillian’s sister noted in her speech that Jillian & Jerry always do things a little differently – they personalize and customize until everything feels right and easy and natural – and that is exactly how their wedding felt. I loved his black on navy suit that was at once understated but dapper, her voluminous mermaid dress that needed no accessories, their decision to stay on their feet all night with a cocktails & stations reception, the way they wanted all their worlds to meet and mingle and merge. So many things impress me about Jillian and Jerry but the one that I adore the most is how they are unwaveringly gracious and inviting – they can hold the attention of a room with ease – but at the same time they are both keenly in tune with one another. Throughout the night I saw them check in with one another, swirl away to talk to friends and then circle back, always touching base with the most important person in the room, his Jillian and her Jerry.
