Kristin & Joel have the best kind of love story – one that is all about family. They met on a lake, at a party where he basically hung out with her dad all night. And it progressed when he asked her to marry him while vacationing in Key West, an event that was immediately followed by an amazing surprise – their parents had secretly flown to Key West to celebrate with them. And their families will gather again in August, this time as no surprise, but rather in a joyful expectant celebration to join their families together, his to hers and hers to his. Beans the Golden Retriever likely will be the only one missing that day, so we made sure he joined us for their engagement shoot. Usually dogs are rather interested in cameras and the person wielding them, but when we met on a sweet sunshine-filled winter day not too long ago there was something way more important to investigate and enjoy: snow. Beans loved it and so did Kristin & Joel – the perfect shimmering setting for a little stroll and a glass of champagne.
