Claire & Joe met on an October evening in Chicago, were engaged on the last day of an October trip to Barcelona and will be married on an October day in Milwaukee. The fact that so many cities figure prominently in that first sentence makes complete sense as both of them love to travel and she even works in the airline industry. But for their engagement session we stayed close to their homes, in the Fulton Market District in downtown Chicago. Adorably, they live down the hall from one another in the same condo building and wile away many an afternoon discovering new places to dine and and talk and enjoy. I love the spots they chose for their session – with city views and gritty warehouse textures playing off of some serious Union Station elegance – everything clicked just right to create some truly stunning images and portrait of their life and style – urban, elegant and all about one another.
