Melissa & Adam in many ways, thought they were just making it official by throwing a big party for their family and friends. They have been together for more than a decade, know each other inside and out and basically, figured it was going to happen eventually so why not do it in the heady warmth of Mexico with a bit of sand between their toes. But once they arrived in Puerto Vallarta and every day brought THE day closer and closer I think they started to feel rather amazed – amazed at how much it all meant to them to see dozens of their favorite people in the world gathered together just for them, amazed that something as simple as a trip to Mexico (something they’ve done a few times before) would see them returned as husband and wife, officially official in every way possible. I loved everything about their wedding weekend, from Adam’s golf game with the guys to the post-wedding beach bonfire with watermelon daiquiris and a stunning sunset. I adored Melissa’s beaded wedding “bolero” that draped her shoulders so delicately and their family’s tear inducing toasts. I loved being there to capture the party, the pool side dinner, the sweet cigar rollers and most of all, the transformation of Adam and Melissa into Husband and Wife.
