Jennie & Chris | Wisconsin Wedding Photographer

In many ways Jennie & Chris have known each other most of their lives. They were in school together as kids, but never dated – in fact, a friend had to jog Chris’ memory about Jennie when they later met as adults. But fast forward past all of the getting-to-know-you-again-first-date stuff and Jennie & Chris found they were clearly made for each other. Very simply, they just get each other and this week (this week!) they’ll transform their love for one another into official familydom when they marry lakeside at Villa Terrace. Last I chatted with them there was still a bit of debate as to whether or not Dude the Australian labradoodle will be there in attendance on Friday, but there was no question he had to be a part of their at home & lakeside engagement session. So with Dude scampering about the yard and hamming it up for treats Jennie & Chris showed me their new mid-century modern and relaxed in the place they call him. Then they gathered themselves for dinner and I caught a few more images of them before they spent the night lakeside at Harbor House. Relaxed but elegant, easy and breezy, I love how comfortable but obviously adoring these two are of one another. Here’s to hoping Dude makes it to Villa Terrace!
