Natalia & Mike both grew up with big bodies of water as their constant neighbors. Mike in Green Bay and Natalia in Bayside, Lake Michigan has a sort of pull on them. By it’s strikingly blue waters is where they want to relax and go for strolls with their dog Molly, where Mike wanted to ask Natalia to be his wife and where they want to celebrate their new marriage this September at Pier Wisconsin. They met in law school and both practiced for awhile before Natalia had the courage and the heart to change her plans, returning to school to be a nurse. Mike still practices and Chicago is home for now, but really home is anywhere they are together – and with Molly – and it’s simply sweet to watch them together. Quiet and kind, both of them are clearly all about family and friends and making small moments count.  For this session they took me to where he made it official at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center. The last time they were there it was snowing and he offered her a ring; this time it was gorgeously warm and Molly came along for the fun, cautiously investigating the beachside sticks and rocks, happy as long as Natalia & Mike were close. And that’s them, really – each made happier by the mere presence of the other.
