Little Miss Charlotte, often called simply C by her parents, is inquisitive and busy getting ever more steady on her feet.  At a year old she has beautiful eyes that catch the sun and reflect Lake Michigan’s blue water back at my camera, the softest hair one can imagine, and a smile that reaches way up from her lips to those aforementioned eyes. She visited me one sunny morning just before the air turned wholeheartedly to fall breezes and we explored the beach, the boardwalk and everything found in between. She mostly wanted to cuddle her lovie or explore on her own but we managed to convince her to share mama’s lap or daddy’s arms for a minute or two out of 60. I love the way she wears her hat, her smile, her confidence and I think these images showcase all of that plus a lot of family love, too.
