Janae & Zach believe in fate and I suppose the power of belief, itself. Here are just a few of the things they believe: finding your soulmate can change your life, cupcakes are the best dessert, God is the best guide, anything worth doing is done better lakeside, family is first and it’s not necessary to wait until the weekend to get married. I learned all of this about them through the lens of Emily, who captured their shoreline I Dos at Heidel House on the 5th of August, a Wednesday. They started dating on the 5th of a month and they both have birthdays on the 5th so they decided to host a low-key, super relaxing wedding on that recurring date. They wanted it to be summer and lovely and easy and breezy and it happens that the 5th of August worked best for them and just fine for everyone else they love and so it was. They dressed indoors while the summer sun warmed up the grounds of the resort and then met in the cool, shaded privacy of tall trees, saying a prayer together before tying the knot in front of their nearest and dearest. Tons of handmade details from chalkboard signs to cupcake toppers to fun mad libs for parents and kids alike filled their reception and it was obvious these two believe in their life together, their love ever after, in forever.
