Kristin & Joel clearly love the water. They spent the vast majority of their wedding day within walking distance of a lake, working in views of both Pewaukee Lake and Lake Michigan, saying their vows at a church with “By the Lake” in its very name, and even climbing on piers and rocks to be just a little bit closer to the water. I think being near the water feels rather a lot like being at home for them and that is what they wanted for the riotously fun, colorful, intimate wedding day – to be at home with one another and all of their favorite people (and to have a few moments with their dog Beans, too.) It was, in all seriousness, a perfectly perfect day. The smiles that day were genuine and plentiful, the laughter even more bountiful and real. From jokes to tears and back again to jokes – the toasts, whether informally offered in a well-loved Pewaukee Lake dive bar or practiced and perfectly delivered in the Pilot House at Pier Wisconsin- revealed a deep and sustaining love between Kristin and Joel and also for them. They are Loved and on their wedding day they shared it, reveled in it and felt oh-so-humbled by all the love and these are the photos to prove it. Congrats to Beans and his humans; Cheers to Love!
