Morgan and Tim are planning a New Year’s Eve wedding this year and in anticipation of all the spectacular glam that such a night brings, they opted for a complete opposite sort of engagement session: one where Harrison the golden retriever gets to participate (okay, steal the show); one where fuzzy blankets and wicker picnic baskets have a place; one where the two of them could wander in the late summer sun. Sweet, simple and homey. Emily met them at Lake Park for such a session and delighted in photographing their easy smiles and warm personalities, Morgan’s interior designer styling adding an extra ounce or two of awesomeness to the whole mix. While they shipped champagne and enjoyed a cheese and prosciutto snack in the park Harrison lounged happily by his mom and dad’s laps, occasionally snuggling into one and always giving off an air of perfect contentment. Which very much also describes Morgan and Tim. They are content and always at ease when together with one another, each the other’s home.
