Lindsay and Sam are, in a word, Adorable. The kind of adorable that makes you want to pull up a chair and join in the game they are inevitably playing, that makes you want to go out for beers, or for a hike, or just hang out with them and talk. They are easy to smile and open about their love of Star Wars (Sam) and Harry Potter (Lindsay), games like Ticket to Ride (thank you Sam’s family) and gin rummy, life in Chicago and getaways up north to enjoy a slower pace of life (both of them.) So for their engagement session it was our pleasure to capture them in their reality where a snowy hike pairs well with reading and board gaming, card playing and Spotted Cow. I love how these images are not filled with props, but rather with laughter and their personalities, their favorites books and games and well-worn boots, their love and happiness the centerpiece of it all.
