If you follow this blog you may have noticed that I have a lot of couples in front of my lens that love dogs and have a dog, who want to be photographed (understandably) with their dog. So, I suppose you could say I have come to know a thing or two about dog people. And this is what I know about Ary & Dan: they are the biggest of hearts, two people whose whole lives seemingly revolve around helping others, furry or no. They met in nursing school and work at the same hospital, often with the same on/off days. And at home Ary fosters dogs, which is how Rosie (the brown dog) came into their lives. I have great friends that are nurses and that are dog foster parents and let’s just say, both of these are really, really hard jobs. They require patience and persistence, problem solving and quick thinking, but most of all they require compassion and a relentlessness that only a special few can embrace and thrive on. And that’s what I see in Ary & Dan, a couple of lovely people who understand one another and who share in each other’s life wholeheartedly, embrace each other’s life with passion and ultimately, thrive in one another’s presence. And oh, yes, I see how much their dogs Rosie and Si love them, too, and maybe that’s all I needed to say in the first place.
