Cindy & Jake’s wedding was utterly stylish in that it was classic and elegant but also bold and fun. It was striking and memorable and full of love and laughter. And now I can’t figure out if I am describing Cindy and Jake’s wedding day style or Cindy and Jake themselves. Because Cindy & Jake are all of those things. And more. They are big hearted helpers, people who strive to make a difference in other people’s lives as she is a teacher and he’s a doctor, two professions that speak volumes about their practitioners. But beyond the jobs it was obvious to me that while Cindy & Jake love each other deeply, the process of being engaged and planning a wedding showed them just how lucky they are to have so many people in their lives that they adore. And in many ways, they wanted to make their wedding day all about celebrating their families, their friends, their colleagues and this wonderful adventure they are on together with all those people. So yes, it was bold, elegant and fun because everything was just so darn beautiful, but really it was memorable because Cindy & Jake figured out how to make everyone present feel engaged, appreciated and utterly loved.
