Amy & Vince’s Whistling Straits wedding day was more than a ceremony or a party; it was more than a pretty dress and a nice suit, best friends and congratulatory toasts. I remember all the parts and pieces as elegant and stylish, a little sparkly and always fun; I remember that everyone had a good time and the weather was perfectly warm and sunny. But what I really remember is how it felt to be in the presence of two people who love each other fiercely, wholly and forever. I loved witnessing the kind of happiness and gratefulness that Amy & Vince both felt and showed all day and night at their Whistling Straits wedding. With a deeply beautiful and compelling landscape as their constant backdrop, Amy & Vince managed the holy grail of wedding planning: they designed a day that was true to them and they steeped themselves in its perfection. From gorgeous blooms to fraternity serenades, tearful first looks and joyful toasts, from am to pm and all around the barn, their wedding was exactly what they hoped it would be: a celebration of their love and most importantly, the the joining of their families and the start of one of their own. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world.
