Lauren & Matt | Bucktown Engagement Photography

Lauren & Matt live in Bucktown, a neighborhood so full of life and urban awesomeness that I was surprised when they hiked me up to a green trail floating above the city. Nooks and trails, fun signage and surprising architecture are what make Bucktown such a lovely place for them – that and the fact that Lauren has siblings that live near by. Within minutes of chatting with Lauren & Matt I came to understand how important that last fact is to them. They have framed photographs of grandparents in their living room and chat easily about their last outing with relatives. They are family focused people and above all else, excited to make their family of two (and two fur babies) officially official. They’ll do that in Milwaukee next summer, which is another town near and dear to them. They met at Marquette University, playing soccer and growing up, friends with a lot of the same people and dedicated to the same game. They have a lot in common like that – similar tastes in people, recreation, fun. And perhaps most importantly compatible tastes in partnership because if I know anything about these two so far it is that they are, very simply, one another’s best friend.
