Rachael & Will’s wedding day was the kind of day I look back on and smile, easily remembering how the sun shone and the smiles were real, how the river sparkled and the two of them reveled in each other’s happiness, how their friends cheered as they floated through it all, a new family forged by faith and love. Their personal details were sweetly thoughtful and touching, but always fun, too: Will started Rachael’s day with a memory book about where they have been and where they are going; she gifted him coveted Packers vc. Texans tickets, promising to be his rival for only a day. They exited the church to bubbles and then danced and toasted on board a trolley between church and the ever-elegant Grain Exchange, made even more beautiful by their choices in gold details with a decidedly foodie flair. (This last bit was no surprise considering that I left their house after their engagement session with a freshly baked muffin!) All in all, if was a classic Milwaukee wedding, but also a classic Rachael & Will kind of day – tasteful and charming, lots of fun and chock full of laughter and love.
