Not too long before their wedding day I photographed Courtney & Michael (and their dog Charlie) as part of their engagement session. On that afternoon we wandered in the warm sun at the place where it all went down – Back Bay Park. Fast forward a few months later and we didn’t get to that spot, but one of their friends created a watercolor piece for them featuring the park and Courtney showed it to me in her hotel room at the Pfister. I mention all of this because I think it’s the perfect example of the kind of friendship and emotion Courtney & Michael inspire in their friends and family. Those that are lucky enough to call Courtney and Michael friend or sibling or coworker, clearly count themselves lucky to be in their world. Because to be in their circle is to know that you are valued, respected, and loved. And that was the feeling that consistently filled the air and the smiles and the moments at Courtney & Michael’s wedding. After just a day or two with them and even I could see that Courtney & Michael value one another’s opinions, respect the other’s choices, and ultimately, love the story they are writing together.
