Craig at 1 Year | Wisconsin Natural Light Family Photographer

Craig just recently turned 1 and he has the teeth, the drool, the chubby thighs, the wobbly walk and the sweet smile to match his age. His mom and dad were married in front of my camera a few years ago and it was a total pleasure catching up with them again this fall on Milwaukee’s lakefront. This time with their plus one. We wandered and meandered and Craig tried out a few steps in his adorably tiny shoes, mostly interested in anything but me, but occasionally looking my way to show off his incredible blue eyes. I love how studied the sand, the water, the grass, the sky – reminding us all how extraordinary the world is, especially when you are 1 and it’s all new.
