Laura & Kyle | Basilica and War Memorial Wedding Photographer

Laura & Kyle are intriguing to me. They are nice and cute and sweet and all that jazz, but if one chats with them long enough little tidbits about their lives come up in conversation and it’s as if the real them sort of emerges from the easy, pretty picture. And, I must say, knowing that he a veteran and she rides horses and they were long distance loves for years makes the picture seem just that much more beautiful. But as surprising as they they are to me it was no surprise that their wedding day was fresh and bright, a little sparkly and a lot romantic, the perfect compliment to their personalities and an exquisite blend of the two of them. I loved the contrasts between their gilded Basilica wedding and their modern War Memorial reception; how their beloved dog Moose joined them on the patio while guests gazed at the lake; how they were surrounded by hundreds but only saw each other.
