Melissa & Dan | Seeboth and Fifth Ward Wedding Photography

Melissa & Dan met in DC, closer to his family home than hers, and they married back in Wisconsin closer to her family than his. But after hanging out with them for a day I came to understand that what really matters to them is whatever space they can occupy together. Individually they are witty and humble, smart and fun but together they are all that and more: committed, caring, thoughtful and warm. Perhaps because of this they have an intimate circle of friends that wouldn’t have missed their wedding day for the world. And that day was, indeed, perfect for Melissa & Dan. I loved the bright pops of preppy navy and yellow paired with down home beer coozies, the very personal ceremony officiated by a family member under a chuppah made from birch trees, and all of the rollicking fun of a wedding for a DC couple in an election year. Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs.
