Amy & Zach are thrilled to be tying the knot next fall on Geneva Lake. With a watery landscape and fall leaves as their backdrop they plan on celebrating their love and the joining of their families with a church ceremony and a joyful reception at The Abbey. But back here in the city is where their everyday lives are, where they wander and explore, where they walk Lexi their pup and where they are everyday making a life together. For all these reasons I loved that they chose to have Emily photograph them “at home” in the Third Ward on a perfect fall day this November. Lexi tried to steal the show, but Amy’s gorgeous eyes kept the camera (ands Zach) engaged without any effort at all. Emily told me she had the best time just hanging out with them and I can see why: together Zach, Amy & Lexi create a picture of love, simplicity, and refreshing happiness.
