Jennifer & Alex were married on a Sunday in September and it was everything they wanted even as it was an experience they could not have possibly imagined. They had started planning months (years?) before – before they moved to Kentucky, before Jennifer started an intense new job, before they realized that their wedding would be something of a destination wedding for them. They are both pharmacists and are starting a new chapter of their professional lives closer to Jennifer’s family down south but being back in the city of Milwaukee where their love story was forged was certainly sweet. In the gilded, romantic setting of the Historical Society they said their vows and reveled in each other, exploring the library and balcony just the two of them before joining their bridal party and family for skyline views and lots of fun atop the Hyatt. Many personal details (Jennifer’s mom made her dress!) throughout the day caught my eye and gave me insight into how much Jennifer and Alex are loved by their families and by one another. And even though they had good food, fun desserts, beautiful flowers and all kinds of wedding perfection in the end it is exactly as the song says: All You Need Is Love.
