Megan & Nick + Pups | Lake Geneva Engagement Photographer

Megan and Nick are big hearted, funny and all together fun. And the fact that I could figure all of that out after just an afternoon spent mousing around Lake Geneva with these two shows how true it is. She’s a NICU nurse and he’s a firefighter so I knew on paper that they were warm and giving but in person I felt it, too. So, I loved getting to know them and their two gorgeous dogs and chatting about their low key, winter wedding plans as we sipped root beer and enjoyed a gorgeously sunny afternoon in Lake Geneva. They actually live in Illinois, but travel north on the regular to entertain the pups by the water and increasingly to do their wedding planning in Milwaukee where they’ll tie the knot surrounded by the cozy, stylish grandeur of the Iron Horse. And although they won’t be bringing Bailey and Oliver along on the wedding day they wanted to capture their two wild and wonderful beasts during their engagement session because they couldn’t imagine their love story being told without them.
