Meryl & Michael | Elegant Pfister Hotel Wedding Photography

Back in July I was treated to an exquisitely fun engagement session with Meryl & Michael (and their french bulldog Pringle). While wandering around Milwaukee’s Third Ward we chatted about their life in Brooklyn and how Michael through Meryl has come to love all things Milwaukee. The two of them were warm and fun and super stylish so I knew their wedding would be a favorite of mine from 2016, but man-oh-man, I underestimated the loveliness. Their Labor Day weekend wedding was full of not only happiness and personality, but a gorgeous palette of indigo, red and gold. Meryl’s Pronovias crepe wedding gown and Michael’s custom suit paired so well with the Pfister’s gilded details to create a Gatsby-esque feeling, that is if a Frenchie in a tiny tux was ever part of the story. But it wasn’t all beauty and style, it was really all about love – love shared between the two of them and love showered on them by the friends gathered from across the country in their honor. It was love as their moms rejoiced in their union and Meryl’s dad recognized Michael’s prime spot in his daughter’s life. It was love as Judge Mosely married them by hand fast and by ring, and it was love as the sun set and the candles blazed. Congrats my Brooklyn friends, your Milwaukee love story looks quite good on you.
