Ary & Dan’s wedding day was emotional and sincere and simply joyful. And that was just the groom. Dan wears his heart on his sleeve and all day he (and his father) fought back grateful, happy tears. Ary was the reason Dan was so emotional around his family and guests that day, but I could tell it was the whole act of marrying that had them both so deeply and wholly engaged. Ary and Dan have been friends and partners for awhile now, but after she was buttoned into her gorgeous gown and he slipped on his signature cowboy boots something in the world shifted. Together they held hands and faced a new life as wife and husband, bound for the day and all eternity. I know they’ll always remember their hilarious and touching toasts, their surprise visit to the Pritzlaff roof top at moonrise, and dancing to live music offered by their talented friends. But I hope these light-filled images remind them, too, of how the sun kissed their skin, warming them when the October wind whipped greedily by; of how smiles brightened every face in the crowd all day long, of those few moments when it was just the two of them in the whole wide world.
