Andrea & Ross were married on an perfect summer day in Milwaukee, two kids from Illinois who’ve migrated slowly but surely north to land in Wisconsin, a state they love for all of the new friends, new stories and new places it’s opened up to them. Surrounded by all their favorite people they celebrated downtown, adding a little sparkle to a few urban spots that are better known for their urban, rustic feel. I loved how they deftly mixed casual style with elegance and enjoyed pairing everyday things with once-in-a-lifetime things (hello sparkly blue Keds!) I loved their peppy flowers and craft beer favors and the fact that we are now pretty sure any place is made a bit brighter by Andrea’s radiant smile and the adoring way Ross treats her (and vice versa.) Their day was fun and fun-loving, sweet and heartfelt, filled with love and really, everything a wedding day should be: a day of Yes, I Dos – a day to celebrate the joining of two families and the start a whole new one, too.
