In so many ways Micaela & Jeremy defy description. True, I can find some words to describe them, but somehow I feel like I’m only telling a part of the story when I say they are bold, self-confident, impossibly happy and fun, intense, maybe even fearless. Because to be around them is to be pulled into a world of relentless optimism, a place where there is always time for drinks and hugs, for prayer and passion, where the only way to approach life it to do it whole-heartedly and with a kind of verve many people can’t imagine possessing. How do I know all of this? I know it because their wedding day was a true reflection of them – colorful and bright, a little over the top in all the best ways, full of energy, hope and compassion, not to mention laughter, jokes, old friends, memories and dearly loved family. Micaela & Jeremy kept me guessing all day as they brought their own wonderful style to everything from the intimate foot washing ritual during their ceremony to the crazy fun dance party on the terrace, from Micaela’s gorgeous sparkle to the party atmosphere, from the villa setting to the 4th of July fireworks. I still feel like I haven’t done it all justice with my text, but as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words so good thing I have many, many pictures to share.
