Amy & Caleb are sweet and kind, the sort of people that make you keep a smile on your face because they certainly do. And really, what’s better than being friends or family with someone who’s default facial expression is a smile? And on their wedding day those smiles were taken to level 10 as Amy & Caleb hosted their perfect day replete with nautical touches, family traditions and jaunty details. The wedding was held in the same church where Amy’s mom and grandmother had married and I know she felt their love as she walked down the same aisle they had walked. She and Caleb exchanged vows and braided a three strand chord held by Caleb’s dad but not before Caleb surprised her with a song and piano serenade. And that kind of deep, bare-hearted love truly wound its way through the day as they celebrated on Milwaukee’s lakefront with toasts and cheers, Festa Italian fireworks and all the sweetness we could handle.
